Constructing a new rugby pitch is a major operation which requires close attention to detail with regard to the construction methods employed.  Efficient drainage systems are key to ensuring optimal playing conditions throughout the long winter months.  The establishment of a suitable turf surface appropriate for the tough treatment the pitch will inevitably endure is also critical, with careful selection of grass plant variety being of significant importance.

All aspects of successful pitch establishment are considered by our team of experts at the planning stage.  Issues such as drainage, grass variety, soil quality and floodlighting are accommodated within the construction specification.  Irrigation systems have the dual benefit of preventing the playing surface becoming too hard for physical contact and also maintaining the quality of the grass growing within the pitch.
