Wetland Reversion and Creation Projects
Having long been associated with agriculture, we feel privileged to have worked in some truly outstandingly beautiful corners of the countryside.
With the ever changing face of UK agriculture now focusing heavily on providing a varied and diverse countryside, many landowners have embraced environmental schemes which have turned uninteresting and unproductive corners of farmland into exciting natural havens for plant and wildlife alike.
Given our background in water management, our own expertise in this field of work has focuses on wetland areas. This has regularly involved creating new aquatic features such as lakes and ponds as well as restoring or cleaning out existing lakes and ponds too. The addition of water control facilities such as sluices and culverts has also formed an important part of our works in creating these stunning areas amidst our rural landscape.
Additional Infrastructure support
Many of these projects involve access requirements for both the public and landowners alike and our team have regularly helped to put in new roadways, car parks and other infrastructure to allow access to these specialist areas which are frequently off the beaten track.
