William Morfoot

Chairman

William Morfoot manages the family business, which was founded by his late father, Alexander William Morfoot, ‘Billie’, in 1950.

William was educated at Haileybury College and after his schooling completed an intensive four-and-a-half year engineering apprenticeship with excavator manufacturers Ruston Bucyrus, in Lincoln.

In 1965, William became Works Director of a successful Norfolk-based minerals production company in the sand and gravel industry. He was responsible for the production, processing and supply of aggregates from quarries in the UK.

After the sale of this company, William joined his father’s firm and with his education and engineering expertise has brought innovative skills to William Morfoot Ltd for over 40 years. He continues his role within the family firm as company Chairman.
